Fundraiser for 150th anniversary draws hungry crowds to downtown Southampton

Southampton, Ont., Aug. 4, 2007 -- At Town Hall in Southampton on Aug. 4, a fundraiser for the Southampton 150th Anniversary celebrations featured a Bacon Burger BBQ, commemorative 16-month calendars and a Coin Catcher sticky enough to trap any coins and bills. The all-volunteer effort was a great success. Here are some photos of the event.
