A
federal contribution of $94,800 was awarded to Southampton's 150th Anniversary by the federal Department of Canadian Heritage.

Ontario government
The position of Special Events Coordinator for the Southampton 150th celebrations was filled thanks to Employment Ontario's Job Creation Partnership, a program of the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. This Employment Ontario project is partly funded by the Government of Canada. The Employment Ontario contribution has a total value of $26,640.
